Mechanical Pumps

Although no longer utilized on
domestic passenger cars and trucks, Carter is still producing specialized
mechanical pumps for the diesel market. From stamped steel, piston booster
and tandem applications, Carter offers a wide range of technology.
Carter also provides an array of
stamped steel and die cast applications for the millions of carburetor
vehicles still in operation. In addition to servicing the general automotive
industry, Carter is also a key player in marine applications and rebuilding
performance engines. |
Modules, Assemblies and Accessories

Nearly all domestic vehicles
have transitioned to an in-tank electric fuel pump, and Carter has the OE
experience to provide solutions to meet or exceed your customers' fuel
delivery needs. This includes modular designs that telescope or flex to keep
delivery accurate and precise. Carter also has fixed hanger assemblies that
emulate OE advanced designs.
Carter is at the forefront of
developing accessories such as seals, lock rings and push rods to ensure
correct and proper vehicular repair. In the future, many strainers will be
utilizing a gradient density media that far exceeds previous levels of
material specifications. This ensures a greater level of protection when
doing in-tank electric pump service. |
