If I get my auto parts from cx360.org how do I get them installed?

This is one of the things that is so great about cx360.org! Have you ever gone to a mechanic or the car dealership to get your car fixed and found out that the price of the parts are higher than the labor? The reason for this is that the mechanic and dealer charge you what is called "List Price", this price that they charge you is usually about 30% higher than the Suggested Retail Selling Price.

As you will see on our ONLINE CATALOG, we sell all of our quality brand name products at 20% below the S.R.S.P.! This gives you the opportunity to shop around for the best price on labor from a mechanic in your area, or you can install the parts yourself and save even more!!

(PLEASE NOTE: We do recommend, for warranty purposes, that a licensed mechanic installs the parts.)

It’s really easy. When you reach the Online Catalog screen. First, select the type of part you are looking for then select the year of your car or truck from the dropdown list. Is the online Credit Card Payment safe?

Using your credit card to shop over the Internet is similar to using it to shop in regular stores, restaurants, or from mail-order catalogues. In any of these situations, a reasonable degree of caution will protect you from fraud, loss, or the invasion of your privacy. You would never give your credit card number over the telephone to a person or a company you didn't trust. Use the same judgement in your online shopping.

Many people contemplating shopping online are concerned that the private information they send to an online vendor, such as credit card numbers and other personal information, can be intercepted by a third party "listening" to the online transaction. So far, credit card number theft over the Internet has been extremely rare; in our research of major law-enforcement and consumer agencies, there was not one reported instance of this kind of credit card fraud. As online commerce picks up, however, it is possible that this type of theft will increase. You can protect yourself from such interceptions by making sure you only send personal information over a secure link provided by the vendor. A secure link will ensure only the vendor with whom you are communicating can read the information you send.

Our system has the capability to provide you with secure payment technology on our ONLINE CATALOG that encrypts your credit card information.  This enables you to enter your credit card number directly on our order form, and be assured that this information is private and protected.

By ordering via credit card online, we can also verify payment within 24 hours, and process your order quickly and efficiently.

If you're using Netscape Navigator, you'll see a solid blue key (secure icon) at the bottom left of your screen. Netscape Communicator users will see a padlock (secure icon) if they are looking at a secure page. Microsoft Explorer users can tell if they are securely connected by looking for the padlock (IE secure icon) at the bottom right of the screen. If you click on the key (or padlock), your browser will show you our site's digital certificate, which lets you know that we run the Web Site.

What Is A Core?

Certain types of auto parts can be recycled or, more specifically, remanufactured for future sale.

These parts have a core value that is used as a form of deposit on the portion of the part that can be remanufactured and that is designed to encourage return of the old part. The "core," simply put, is your old part. Returning cores can save you money on replacement parts.

Parts that may have a core value include brake shoes, brake master cylinders, water pumps, starters, alternators and air conditioning compressors.

 Core Charges and Core Prices

The sale of a remanufactured part involves the price of the part itself, as well as an additional core charge to encourage the return of the old part for remanufacturing purposes. The core charge, sometimes called a core price, is a form of deposit you pay until returning your old part. If you don't have the core at the time of purchase, you must pay the core charge. That charge is refunded to you when you return the core.

Let's say you buy a remanufactured water pump with a $15 core charge, but you haven't removed the old water pump yet. You must pay the core charge when you buy the part. After you replace the pump, you return the old one to the store with your receipt (which includes the core charge). As long as the old part is in acceptable condition, the store will then refund the $15.

 Returning Cores to cx360.org

If you have paid a core charge for an item purchased from cx360.org., you are eligible for core credit upon return of the old core unit. Used cores can be returned at any time provided the original parts as purchased at cx360.org and that they are shipped back in the box you received with the original product.

Please follow the cx360.org return process that will be e-mailed to you at time of purchase and identify the reason for the return as a "used core."

Before returning the used core, be sure to drain all fluids from the core and place it in a plastic bag to prevent leakage in transit. Then, pack the used core in the box that contained the original part you bought from cx360.org.
